Elopements have also increased in popularity due to COVID 19 since many weddings were postponed and couples don’t want to wait to marry one another! But those are not the only reasons to elope. In the world of intimate weddings, the day of your marriage shouldn't be adhered to any expectations. At elopements there are minimal guests as the day is heavily focused on you and your partner, the location and the exchange of your vows, marking a new chapter of married life. Back in the day elopements were conducted privately - sometimes because the two lovers were forbidden to marry! Couples would have their ceremony and then run away and elope together, no reception and no celebration with loved ones. With elopements you will have pretty much the whole day to work with your elopement photographer or filmmaker to document timeless memories of what you two truly enjoy and love doing!
