Hey there, it’s awesome that you landed on this page! I’m Aryan - an Edinburgh wedding photographer and videographer.
Being inspired by photojournalism and editorial photography, and filmmaking, my style is a combination of documentary, fine-art and editorial. You see, there’s no secret ingredient to photography and filmmaking - just like cooking, it’s the mixture of the right ingredients that makes up the delicious end product and with photography and filmmaking, it’s a touch of each style that makes an elegant wedding story.

With its stunning architecture, quirky nooks and crooks with beautiful green spaces, Edinburgh has plenty of photogenic spaces for beautiful wedding photographs - but where are these secret gems?
Calton Hill
The first one is of course the stunning Calton Hill. From here, you can see historical and cultural landmarks such as Edinburgh Castle, Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh’s Old Town and Princes Street! Can a location get any better?
2. Edinburgh Castle
Imagine getting married in a castle that is the focal point of all the word-famous Scottish Hogmanay celebrations. The one with epic fireworks displays. The one that has heard he O'clock gun sound across the city of Edinburgh for over 155 years! Unique can romantic, with a rich history, this castle can actually make you feel like Mary Queen of Scots was a close friend. But apart from that, what could be more grand than getting married in such castle? Or perhaps, having your wedding photographs taken at this fairytale castle?
3. The Royal Mile
This is certainly one of the main historic streets of Old Town in Edinburgh, leading from the gates of the castle to the palace gates. You'll find numerous spots along the mile that are absolutely wonderful for your wedding photos - one of the most popular one being the St Giles Cathedral which can be very secluded yet romantic for wedding photos.
4. The Circus Lane
This is another great location with a a beautiful backdrop. With its cobbled street, quaint little houses and the New Town setting of Edinburgh, it works brilliantly as a backdrop for both marriage proposals and wedding photographs.
5. Ross Fountain, Edinburgh
The newly restored Ross Fountain makes an incredible backdrop for both marriage proposals and wedding photos! This spot will probably give you the best and clearest views of the Edinburgh Castle in the backdrop of your photos, so settings can't be more impressive than this one!

He knew when to pull us away for a photoshoot (some amazing sunset photos because of his initiative) and he knew when to keep behind the scenes.
