Guardswell Farm Wedding Photographer | Rebekah + Richard

Welcome back to the blog where we share reals weddings, planning tips and ideas for inspiration and more...! Here is the beautiful story of Rebekah and Richard who tied the knot at Guardswell Farm, the ideal location for couples looking for a rustic and farm vibe.

Richard proposed to Rebekah in a very interesting but authentic way - by handing her the ring in his digger bucket. I mean, how sweet but unique is that?

Excited for their big day, Rebekah and Richard opted for a black mikado, blue and rustic theme which honestly looked amazing. The venue was decorated in a simple but elegant way. Rebekah looked absolutely stunning in her black mikado dress, and we must admit she definitely stole the show whilst Richard was looking dapper in his traditional Scottish Kilt representing Clan Macdonald Nicoll. In fact the couple incorporated Clan Macdonald Nicoll tartan in their wedding which was a nice little touch to the wedding. Both Rebekah and Richard were looking forward to walking back down the aisle together as a married couple and the sheer joy and excitement when they did was truly a sight for sore eyes. It was a memorable moment indeed.

When Rebekah & Richard reached out in search of a Scotland based wedding photographer and videographer, we were thrilled to be approached as offering both services as one supplier allowed us to document their special day seamlessly. Both Rebekah and Richard wanted their wedding album to reflect the candid and real emotions of friends, family and of course them on their special day and being able to look back and relive every moment of their wedding day was important to them both. We say it can often be easy to get caught up in the moment so what better way than to have a beautiful gallery and film to look back upon and remember the day by.

As a wedding photographers and filmmakers, documenting authentic emotions throughout your special day really captivates us - whether that's the anticipation of the preparations, a first look with your parents when they see you in your stunning bridal dress or the cheering and confetti when you walk back down the aisle as newlyweds. Your wedding day is filled with such crucial moments to capture and making sure these moments are documented in a raw, emotional and authentic way is exactly the approach we used for Rebekah and Richards wedding.

Here are the beautiful moments…
