A Logie Country House Wedding | Logie Country House Wedding Photographer and Videographer

Aberdeenshire exudes traditional luxury and possesses some of the most historic and rustic looking venues in Scotland. Aberdeenshire hosts some of the most beautiful and fairytale wedding venues in Scotland for a traditional wedding, but also some of the most beautiful locations for elopements and micro-weddings if that’s what you’re planning. From the epic Dunnottar Castle to beautiful Cliffside locations! But back to today’s feature:

Ally and Christie chose to have their wedding at Logie Country House in Aberdeenshire, a luxury wedding venue nestled in the Aberdeenshire woodlands, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and breathtaking views all around. Honestly, what more could one ask for! The venue was picturesque no matter what direction you looked in and it was the perfect backdrop for this couples wedding photos. Having a scenic backdrop gives your photos a creative and artistic feel which is why we love capturing moments that show the background. Plus, if you’re travelling from afar to get married in Scotland, you obviously want to show Scotland in your photos, right? So what better way than to choose a venue that shows off the Scottish scenery!

Ally and Christie decided to have a traditional Scottish ceremony. The ceremony was in the ballroom across from the main house and it was decorated in a subtle but tasteful way. Having over a hundred guests the room was filled with pure joy and happiness and as Christie made her grand entrance with both her brothers walking her down the aisle, it sure was a sight to behold. Christie stunned everyone as she elegantly walked towards her husband-to-be. Ally also looked dapper in his traditional Scottish Kilt. The ceremony was beautiful and the couple exchanged vows and then the rings!

Ally and Christie loved the idea of being captured in a natural and candid manner and that’s how we went about the entire day. We captured the happy moments, the emotional ones and everything in between. As the afternoon unfolded, Ally and Christie wandered around the estate grounds - a perfect opportunity for us to document these intimate moments for them to cherish forever. The rest... a story to be told through their photos and film...

Kind words from Ally and Christie:

“Thank you so much for our album. We love every photo you took. We couldn't be happier! You did an amazing job. We have just watched our videos and completely love them. Thank you so very much to you and Shay for doing an amazing job! You are both so talented.”
